What's for dinner? To be honest, my main intention is to make something that will go nicely with that lovely loaf of bread I have from the Kilauea Bakery. It's gotten a little cold and rainy this afternoon so I decide on a big pot of soup. What goes into soup? Basically, all the fresh organic stuff I can find!
olive oil
chopped garlic
chopped onion
fresh hot chilis
cubed red potatoes
sliced carrots
sliced zucchini
a big bunch of kale
canned roasted tomatoes
water
veg bouillon
sea salt
pepper
lots of fresh dill and parsley
(all organic!)
I also make a simple hummus to scoop up with that bread. Everything is perfect. Yum!
