Vegans need B12 SUPPLIMENTS unless they regularly consume a lot of fortified foods. (I'm surprised, and a little disappointed, to find that it may not be possible to get EVERY vitamin and nutrient we need from fresh, natural food... so I'm still doing research on this subject but have committed to taking vegan B12 caps while I learn more.)
