Dinner (1/7/11 6:03 PM)

PARATHA... I was told these (packaged, frozen) parathas were amazing and sent home with one to try for myself... I cooked it slowly and lovingly, pressing and flipping as it puffed and browned, then coated it lightly with Earth Balance and sea salt. It was golden. It was flaky. It was moist and chewy. It was all the things a paratha should be... But strangely, it was not quite right. Next time I'll have to make 'em from scratch... Or else wait till I'm back in India!
