A new student brought a bunch of coconuts, and I got a new coco-opening tool too... So easy to open and drink fresh, delicious cocos! Gosh I love life in the tropics... ;)

Soup, hummus, bread. The soup: red lentils, water, chopped green beans, fresh grated coconut meat, coconut milk, sea salt, red pepper flakes, ginger, turmeric, curry powder, coconut vinegar and fresh cilantro. The hummus: chickpeas, olive oil, sea salt, lemon juice, a fresh jalapeño and some parsley. The bread: fresh baked ciabatta from Kilauea Bakery.

Avocado dip, awww yeah! Made it fresh and we're picking up burritos too, and heading to the beach for a summer solstice sunset picnic.
